Sclerotherapy involves non-surgical varicose vein removal by injecting a solution directly inside the vein. The resulting reaction gradually shrinks the varicose vein. Diseased veins usually require several treatments to completely disappear.

For best results, we recommend treatment sessions at 2-6 week intervals since the largest, most pressurized veins are treated first and take longer to heal. Bruising, a burning sensation, and lumps
in the affected area are common post-treatment complaints. Patients should not take hot baths or use hot tubs or saunas for 2
days following treatment.
